On 6th and 7th March, two Workshops of Design Thinking, conceived within the framework of the NRRP-BBMRI project ‘Strengthening BBMRI.it’, were held at the University of Milan-Bicocca. Various members of the BBMRI.it community, from biobanks to researchers and patients’ associations, took part in these round tables for the co-creation of ELSI (Ethical, Legal, Societal Issues)-themed prototypes of digital platforms.
Thanks to the facilitation of Dr. Sara Casati (CNR – BBMRI.it), Prof. Marialuisa Lavitrano (CNR – BBMRI. it, UNIMIB) and co-creation platform experts Boubacar Barry & Dasha Bespyatova (Mirahi), the groups successfully completed activities to co-design collaborative virtual spaces such as the open-source Knowledge Base digital platform and the Community of Practice Platform, with a view to consolidating the extended BBMRI community as an ELSI/RRI community of practice.
