The 1st Annual Meeting of NextGenerationEU project Strengthening BBMRI.it took place in Naples, at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University “Federico II”. Seventy collaborators have participated in the event to align with the progress of the project. The f2f meeting was the chance for all beneficiaries to discuss the next steps related to: launch of Open Calls; development of new biobanks 4.0; support from N.I.Co. Core Facilities network to BBMRI.it partner biobanks; training courses for biobankers; strengthening of ELSI and IT Common Services. The meeting marked the start of the second phase of the project. A meeting with the BBMRI.it community will be hosted in Bologna on September 24th.
